I first used this as a gel cream on my whole face. I really enjoyed using this in the morning, its lightweight and sinks into the skin instantly. I like that this provides the hydration that my skin needs without the sticky feeling, but this would really be too light for those with extremely dry skin. It also really helped calm my pimples by making it less sensitive to touch (donβt get this wrong, its still there just not swolen anymore) but before I even reach my second week of using this, my skin barrier was compromised (βοΈNOT BECAUSE OF THIS PRODUCTβοΈ) so I had to stop using this because I noticed that this really stings on my skin when I had a compromised skin barrier, and the sting is really too much for me to handle.
However, I havenβt used this long enough to notice any brightening effect to my skin. But Iβll be happy to update this review, when I do.
On a final note, if you are sensitive to essential oils, you should avoid this as it contains Bergamot oil.

Yes, its good for daytime use if you have an intact skin barrier
this gel cream somewhat defeats its purpose when it canβt be used on a skin that has a compromised skin barrier
