[Price]
This cleansing oil was gifted to me in exchange for this review, but searching around I can find it for $16 USD to around $23.
[Packaging]
This bottle is sooo beautiful!! The tinted blue plastic gives such a refreshing and calming ambience. I really love this special design touch on a cleanser you pair with water. I also like that I can control the pump and get only as much as I need.
[Consistency]
This is a very thin cleansing oil. It spreads very easily, you don't need much to cover the entire face. I use about a half pump.
It's actually similar to the Kose Softymo Speedy Cleansing Oil, but feels less slippery. Not a dry oil, but does feel less occlusive than the Speedy oil I don't like.
[Eyes]
This does not sting my eyes, but it can make them a little cloudy. It doesn't linger, though, it goes away with rinsing with water.
[Removal]
Rinses away cleanly without any oily film left over. But emulsification runs down my face and hands when I'm in this stage of oil cleansing. It may be that most cleansing oils very thin in consistency do this during emulsification, but I prefer being able to work it around in my skin before it runs down, or before I rinse away the oil completely. And in that case, this is simply personal preference.
[Scent]
Smells like citrus. I can especially smell orange. It smells almost exactly like the Dr. Ceuracle Pro Balance Creamy Cleansing Foam due to similar fruit peel oils.
[Conclusion]
👍Despite realizing that I might prefer thicker cleansing oils, this one works really well. I really like this oil cleanser. I would absolutely purchase a second bottle.
Fruit oils and extracts may be potentially irritating to those with sensitive skin:
❌orange peel oil
❌grapefruit peel oil
❌bergamot fruit oil
