Retinol 0.2% in Squalane
Application
It's an oil based serum, so it takes more time to absorb and it leaves a greasy feeling. I personally do not consider it a huge drawback, because your're supposed to use it in the evening.
Experience
It didn't cause me any purging, even weeks after using it. Still, I did not notice any benefits form the retinol, like smoother skin or faded pigmentation, which makes me doubt the efficacy of the formulation. The squalene oil felt very nourishing, but that was the only benefit I got from this serum.
PAO of 3 months is to short.
I didn't see any improvements in my skin.

this is probably too low a dosage, but perfect for people like me with super sensitive skin that want to begin using retinol. that PAO is truly bad though. thereโs a study that was done that showed Paulaโs Choice and The Ordinaryโs retinol expire much more quickly than others :/
