TEXTURE & SCENT
The onleaf Vegan Heartleaf PHA Toner has a delicate scent. It's a liquid toner since it contains PHA - instead of using it with your hands, in this case, it's better to go for pads.
How does it work?
It's a delicate exfoliating toner based on PHA. I do use it with retinol, but I'm a trained professional and PHA in low concentrations has a moisturizing effect. Still, if you're new to retinol I would advise you to stick to not experimenting with too many actives at the same time. It's a liquid toner and in this case, since it contains PHA I would recommend using it with a cotton pad. I'm not a big fan of toners and making reviews of them usually makes me bored since many toners are similar, but this one is awesome if you don't want to add stronger exfoliant but you want to add moisture to the skin and gently help your skin with the natural process of exfoliation. It didn't cause me any redness and it's an economic option.
PRICE
$22/260 ml. It's an affordable product
There's nothing bad about it. The only problem with the onleaf is the fact that this brand is only available on the onleaf's website.
