Ascorbic Acid 8% + Alpha Arbutin 2%

product review positives
It truly does work very well. I know the Ordinary has their separate 2% alpha arbutin serum, but unless you are sensitive to ascorbic acid, i don’t know why you would pick it over this one. Ascorbic acid in combination with alpha arbutin is a power house that works on so many different concers and provides a lot of benefits, of course the work on PIH (and PIE) being the most noticable one. It is very affordable, but i was pleasantly surprised with the results as i noticed a brighter, more even complexion. If you are looking for a product to tackle hyperpigmentation, give it a shot, as it just might be the one 😉
product review negatives
The texture is awful. It’s super oily and quite unpleasant, especially at first. After a few weeks i have gotten used to it and it didn’t biothwr me that much. Of course, i would love for them to work on it a little bit, but it’s the sacrifice that comes with the price. I am happy the texture didn’t deter me from using it as it works really great and it’s worth a little bit of discomfort. Also, i am not a fan of ordinary’s packaging, but once again, the price somewhat warrants the awful quality of the dropper bottle🤷🏼‍♀️
