Time Return Melatonin Cream
I have been using this cream on and off for many months and went through 3 tubes (I alternate with the Facetheory M10 pro, which also contains melatonin but has a fragrance free version).
My opinion is positive, melatonin (strangely) is not very popular in skincare products and there are just a few containing this great ingredient.
This gem contains Melatonin liposomes (2'500 ppm active): they should help your skin 'cheat' a good night sleep by increasing elasticity, skin brightening and improving hydration.
Melatonin is an hormone that regulates sleep. In skincare it might help suppress skin damage from UV rays, plus it is a great antioxidant!
It also contains:
Adenosine: to help restore skin vitality and resilience.
Flower complex (Passiflora, Lavender and Evening Primrose extract + Camomile flower oil): calms tired skin.
Celery and cherry π water (40%): moisturises and soothes the skin.
Niacinamide: helps with barrier function.
Glutathione: helps reduce production of Melanin and boost skin immune response.
Glycerine & Squalane: hydrate and nourish.
Texture and finish: It is a very rich and thick cream. Leaves a lovely glossy finish ... Similar to the ordinary NMF + Phytoceramides!
It does absorb very well though and leaves a natural/satin finish after it has fully set.
Price: soooo cheap! The tube is small (25ml) but I normally pay between 7-9 GBP for this.
Has not caused any skin irritation despite the fragrance (it is very light and not offensive).
Tube is very small and the last 2 I bought were 'defective': they had an 'air bubble' in the middle of the tube and I was left with half the quantity...so annoying and quite disappointing, especially when the tube is already tiny! 25ml... More like 10ml
Fragrance: it has a light lavender πͺ» smell which does not bother me much and hasn't irritated my skin so far but would prefer a fragrance free version.
When the FT M10 pro goes on sale, I buy that one as they have a fragrance free version but is overall more expensive.
Both are great products containing Melatonin.
It is thick when it comes out of the tube and I need quite a lot to cover my face.
I like it for dry skin but not sure it would work for oily skin. You might not enjoy it if you're acne prone.
