Moisture Cloud Face Cream
Flight Mode’s Moisture Cloud Face Cream is a thick, grey, weird smelling cream and I absolutely love it.
But let’s start from the beginning 😅
When i first got it, it seemed rather heavy, so i was worried it will be way too much for me. I asked my mom to try it, because she has super dry skin. Aside from dryness, she also suffers from extreme sensitivity and pretty much anything can cause a reaction, so every new product is a hazard. Fortunately, this cream worked very well for her and didn’t cause any, not even the smallest, reaction, so i was pleasantly surprised. My mom loves it and now she’s stealing it from me any time she can.
Because of the review, i had to try it despite my apprehension about the texture. And i’m so glad i did. Yes, the cream is thick and reasonably heavy, but it doesn’t feel like it’s sitting on the skin, or blocking the pores, or not sinking in. It melts into it and provides a nice protective layer and i was very impressed with how they managed to formulate something so rich, but also wearable, both day and night 😱
Because of retinol i’m a little bit closer to normal than oily skin recently, and i don’t think it will fit in an oily person’s routine (except in the middle of winter), but for anyone from combination to very dry skin, it’s a great proposition.
The packaging is very nice. I don’t like jars, but this one has a pump and a cap that is extremely easy to operate. The cream has a mild scent that i can’t for the life of me identify, but it’s a little sweet and planty - i actually really like it. It’s grey in colour, which i was surprised by at first, but i don’t mind it, it’s definitely interesting and it doesn’t make your skin grey or anything.
May not work for very oily skin and in a very hot climate.
