Ultra Violet Brightening Purple Clay Mask
Ultra Violet Brightening Purple Clay Mask by Generation Skin is a product i was rather impressed by.
The mask has a pastel violet colour (hence the name). It’s light and creamy, spreads on the skin without the problem. It dries pretty fast, even if you spray it with a mist, but it doesn’t cause it to be drying. On the contrary, i was happy to find out that the mask didn’t dry me out at all, it left my skin still feeling slightly moist, which makes it a nice clay mask option for both oily and dry skin. It’s very easy to wash off - i usually use clay masks between oil and water cleanses, because i want to be sure they are removed properly, but this one was unproblematic and you can wash it off very easily using only lukewarm water.
The positives outweigh the negatives, and i’ve been enjoying using this product and seeing the benefits it provides (less pronounced blackheads on the nose). It is great both the whole face as well as for multimasking. If you leave it off for too long, like, let’s say, 30 minutes (don’t kill me🙈), it also doesn’t dry you out, which was nice 😅
I don’t like the scent, it smells like pepper (it’s probably ylang ylang and patchouli). When you put it on the skin, it slightly burns for a while (not something only i experienced, so i assume it’s a pretty normal experience with this product).
