Scented vs unscented skincare

I’ve been at a crossroad with this issue. I’ve always loved scented products, but this days I’m more concerned about the effects of fragance containing products on our skin I’ve sensitive skin and I think this kind of products might not be the best for my skin. These days I tend to use non scented products but I feel like something’s missing! Have you felt the same? Maybe I just have to get used to it. What do you think about scented skincare products? Thank you for your thoughts 💜✨

fragrance isn’t bad, but it can be an irritant for some skin types. I have rosacea & sensitive skin, any kind of fragrance will cause me redness or a break out, so I do my best to avoid it 💗

I personally would avoid fragrance if you have eczema, you definitely don’t want to make it worse and eczema can be easily irritated ✨

Fragrance/parfum/essential oils aren’t a problem for some people. Which is why I didn’t start my comment off by saying, “Unscented skin care is superior!” I personally try to avoid scent, I know my skin can flare up easily when I use irritating ingredients on my face, especially leave on treatments and moisturizers.

Totally! I feel that my skin doesn’t get that Irritated when I use unscented products! But I feel that I miss the relaxing scent part. Thank you for your advice!

I'm fine if in wash off products, and the scents not too strong. Other than that my skin can't tolerate it

I have the same dilemma as you - considering between the scented and unscented purito serums... even though I don't have sensitive skin, I'm quite hesitant to use fragrance sometimes as I've heard about people's bad reactions :( but I do enjoy a nice scented product now and then

For me honestly, I'm not bothered with fragrance even with my skin type. It's not something i actively avoid ( unless it smells floral or alcohol, that kind of scent bothers me ) If the product is unscented, cool. If it's smelling like vanilla cake frosting, I'm fine with that as well. As long as it works, doesn't irritate my skin and healthy for my wallet, I'm down. I've tried unscented products before that doesn't work and even irritated my skin. I have products right now that smell like tea tree and some that has citrus scent and works beautifully. If You're happy with the product, it works, and doesn't irritate your skin. why stop?

Sure, with the products I already love, but the new ones, I’m a bit concerned in case my skin irritates😔
