Comparing Matrixyl 3000 with Retinol

Does anyone have the experience of using matrixyl 3000 and retinol? How it feels and what is your preference? Most of the reviews stated that matrixyl is a baby version of retinol but does give impressive results on the skin.

Bought matrixyl serum from my mum, I wouldn't say it helps her fine lines and wrinkles tremendously, the difference is subtle after a 60ml of serum. So, I just purchased another retinal serum for her to try. So far, I think matrixyl will work a little, but takes longer time. Recommend to use both matrixyl and retinol together.

I think the results you can achive with matrixyl are very limited compared to retinol.

Matrixyl has peptides that stimulate collagen and elastin production to fight lines and wrinkles. It can't treat the wide variety of skin issues that retinol does, but it's also not going to cause all the side effects of retinol. I actually use matrixyl in combination with retinol to get the best of both products. The Ordinary and Cos De Baha both have really affordable options!
